General Football me thinks, but yes, he looked good for the first 25 minutes.

Needs to get match fit, then he will be tormenting prem defences for many years. Unfortunately in the red strip and not white.

Booooo!

seriously who cares
he is a arsenal player not a spurs player
last time i checked they are our most fierce rivals
why waste time talking about one of there players
im sure arsenal fans dont talk about any of ours !

They may well do if Wilson carries on being a hero, they have moaned about being lightweight in midfield and may well bemoan letting him go, much in the same way we will moan about letting AA slip through our grasp!

:shrug: Another star to add to Bergkamp and Petit.

On a sidenote I found myself looking forward to their game as I new he would be starting

Not really had anything to say lately, i'm trying to stay off forums for a bit. I'm around reading but rarely posting at the moment.

I watched it because I wanted to see him play, I even wanted him to do well at some points willing him to score.

It's amazing what good footballers can do.

We've got Modric, who I honestly believe is a more complete, all round player, as much as we'd like to tell ourselves he would, Arshavin probably would not have fitted into our team. Modric is the right player for us, as he likes to go and get stuck in and retrieve the ball, we complain about our lightweight midfield, he would make it worse.

He may have been good up front for us, but we've now got Keane, who is home again and knows the premier league inside out, and almost as importantly, the right sort of character we need.

I'm not denying he's a good player, but spending the same money on Palacios was a much smarter move and will suit us better. Plus, Arshavins 27, a full 4 years older than our Luka.

Arshavin is stronger, quicker and more direct than Modric.

They could've both played though, Arshavin is right footed but has a sweet left peg and could've played on our left to give us more balance.

I was also interested to see him play too, had a decent debut and will only improve, I'm curious as to where Wenger will play him once he has everyone fit. Didn't they play a 4-3-3 formation with Arshavin and RvP supporting Bendtner, I wonder if they'll stick with this system or go back to a standard 4-4-2. I don't think AA is best suited to a 4-4-2.

Possibly so but not necessarily better Kendall, my money's still on Modric.
