Arshavin will get you more goals than Modric and cause defences more problems with his ability to run at them and make them look like fools, Modric is good at this aswell but doesn't come close to Arshavin with all due respect, Though IMO Modric is a better passer of the ball than Arshavin.

Modric is what, 4 years younger than Arshavin? Why are people comparing them? Arshavin is in his peak and is pretty much fully developed now. Modric is still only 23 and getting better. We'll see where he is at 27. Besides, they're totally different types of player.

Exactly, easy to forget how young Modric is and Corluka for that matter. A lot more to come from Luka in a Spurs shirt i think. I am sure AA will do ok at Woolwich but he wasn't the player they needed at all

Arshavin = Flair, pure flair in the Ginola mold

Modric = Creative

Where Arshavin will take 2 players on and usually leave them on there asses, Modric will probably cut them in two with a creative pass.
