Anyone catch the semifinals?

Japan and Korea played a really entertaining, open game. Japan won of penalties, but not before Korea leveled in the final minute of extra time to draw level at 2-2.

Korea proceeded to miss all 3 of their penalties. Ji Sung Park didn't even get a chance to take one.

I hope the Uzbekistan/Australia game is as good.

so Japan are the winners of the 2011 Asia Cup after beating Australia 1-0 and have now claimed this title a record 4 times in it's history.

It wasn't a very memorable final although both teams had plenty of chances to score and it could've gone either way tbh. It was 0-0 and went into ET where substitute Tadanari Lee in only his second appearance for Japan, scored with a wonderful first time left footed volley into the top right corner of the net after a great cross from the impressive Nagamoto to leave Schwarzer stranded in his line and decide the outcome in the 109th minute. Japan were far from impressive as opposed to their semi final performance vs SK but they won't care. :)
