Aston Villa have made an enquiry to sign Tottenham right-back Kieran Trippier on a season-long loan.

I'd be amazed if we loaned out Trippier to Villa. If he were available for any sort of move then both parties (club and player) would surely look for a Premier League destination. I'm not at all convinced Yedlin has moved ahead of him in the pecking order anyway.

I think Hell would freeze over before this happened. Still our best player delivering a cross.

The whole point of signing Trippier was to ensure we had PL quality back-up at RB. Why would we loan him out? Especially considering Poch frequently rotated full-backs last season, and that Walker hasn't got a spotless injury record by any stretch.

Would be just the kind of bizarre arrangement we're often capable of.

Daft...we're probably going to rotate our full backs when we get to CL matches and the domestic cups start...this makes no sense and I can't see it happening

There is very little between Kieran and Kyle. A loan to Villa? You're 'avin a laugh!
