Park lane was absolutely electric. Fair play to Reading as much as they were bloody annoying, they were very loud.

Corr madness.

Although only once we'd got it back to 3-3... First half was a bit quiet, and the first 15/20 minutes of the second was predominantly shouted insults directed at our defence...

Spurs fans did sound quiet for stretches of the game from the stream I was paddling in. Shock? The players must notice they have lost the support for a while - and it did seem to motivate them, well Berba at least! More effective than booing.

Our fans were great today. I'm getting pissed off that every team seems to be singing "oh when the x, goes marching in"

My father met an old friend, who is now a director of Reading Football Club, and he managed to get us tickets for this afternoon's game in the Reading away end.

I am a true Tottenham supporter and I did find it weird sitting in the away stand. I did chant for Reading, but I only celebrated a goal if we equalised, but when we took the lead at 3-2 I didn't cheer as I actually wanted Tottenham to win the game. As they did, but not in the way it happened.

Obviously there was banter between the home fans and the away fans, this was concentrated in the lower Park Lane area nearest to the away fans. I was on the lower west side of the away fans.

The Tottenham supporters in the Park Lane were amazing! It was interesting watching the Tottenham fans chanted, and you guys did make me proud. And you certainly shut the Reading fans up for many parts of the match!

The best moment was when Berbie scored the 6th goal, and everyone was singing 'And when the Spurs, and when the Spurs' starting off very slowly and getting faster and faster. That gave me a deep warm feeling inside!!! i was sooo happy. I wish so bad that i was in the Tottenham side, I would have gone mental!!! but i had to keep my enjoyment inside me!!

Also when we collected the tickets from the directors area in the West stand, I met my dass mate the Reading director and he said that Levy is terrible at trying to sell players to him! I was thinking to myself, I thought Levy is the only chairman to have a top degree in economics in England!!

Well done lads who went to the Lane this afternoon, and especially the yids in the Park Lane! What a great result and what a maaatch!

YID ARMY!

ps moved to this thread! hope you are all happy now!

That's our chant! Any non-Spurs fans singing it hould be stabbed in the eye with a fork. I also noticed that Norwich have a similar chant to our 'We're the Park, we're the Park' etc. I couldn't make it out on the radio, but I did hear it. They should also be stabbed in the eye with a fork.

Just got back from the game, second half for the last half hour was a great atmosphere. Fair shout to Reading fans as there was some decent banter going on, and it's always nice when the opposition can sell their allocation.

"Barclay" Thats their end, I and a few of my fellow Spurs hooligans had a massive tear-up there in 1973. Phew.

Not glorifying it, but thats what we did then. :duh:

It was late 1972, NCFC had just been promoted and we would meet them later in the season in the League Cup final

Great to hear our fans getting behind the team. The noise at WHL is much better compared to many other stadiums. That is great, and the Tottenham players appreciate that a lot.

I want to give credit to all the fans involved in the support in todays game. Great to hear so many getting behind the team!
