Weird one. This summer, PSG seem to be signing players that can solidify their chances of going those extra inches in Europe. Until now.

I can't think of a worse liability to have on the field in a finely balanced CL knockout game entering its final stages.

Good luck to him, but I've long felt his forward play for us was way overrated while his rashness and defensive blundering almost guaranteed.
He's brilliant in-between attack and defence. Occasionally doing something memorable at each end. For good or for worse.

In 10 years time I'll struggle to remember anything about him.

Seems an odd sale though, with Foyth gone it leaves it a bit sparse in that position? From what I've seen, Doherty isn't the answer.

Be interesting to know if the next coach wants wing backs or full backs.

We definitely need to bring in someone though.

He's better than Doherty even if he has a brain fart or two in him.
Being better than Doherty is like saying West Brom are better than Sheffield United. We want somebody good, not duffers like Aurier and Doherty. Get this done ASAP. Surprised Poch wants him again.

What does Poch see in this guy that no one else can?! Like most players, Aurier can be an excellent player on his day. But on a crap day he can single handedly lose you games, as we’ve seen on numerous occasions. Can’t see him being any different playing for PSG. Still annoying that we’ve let him go without an obvious replacement lined up. No one fancies Doherty in that position all of next season.

His cost us points and a trophy in very important games a liability worth getting rid of

Hmmm he is one of many players that cost us games, he can be a liability yet last season he showed some consistency and was at least more consistent than other players, think now is the right time to get rid mind you.

Now is the time to get rid primarily because he's entering last year of contract and Doherty isn't. It makes sense to get whatever return we can on him and not let him leave on a free, most here agree we need a new right back/wing back anyway and who would leave of the two we have doesn't really matter all that much to me.

I have funny feeling that any inconsistency issues Aurier's had at Spurs will be rectified at PSG. Just like Juan Foyth transitioning into a cup winning badass at Villareal... There's definitely an underlying issue that transcends players and managers here. I don't want to have to admit it, but I think the root cause begins with an 'E' and ends with a 'C'...
