Best player won, no question. Nadal had an extra day's recovery and didn't have a 5 set semi to deal with which makes Djokovic's victory even more unbelievable.

This tournament has shown how much Murray has improved from last year and under Lendl he'll only get better

Nadal 4-2 & 30-15 when he missed that absolute sitter. 2 points for 5-2 in the 5th and Djokovic suffering ... At that level it's a game of very small margins, and especially among the current top 4.

I think Murray will win a major this year. Could well be Wimbledon, but I don't envy him the pressure, especially now I've said that!
