Good luck AVB - I think this is the type of job he really should have taken following his time at Chelsea

I think he came to the EPL too soon and was given high profile jobs there before he was ready

A top team like Zenith with CL football year in year out but closer to Porto (with more spending power)

I think he will do well there and I think this will enable him to get his managerial career back on track and he may develop into a top manager in the future

Seems pretty windy positions there, Spalletti was fired while Zenit was being 2nd and he won them 2 titles and they were 2nd last season. Now also Spartak have fired Karpin while 3rd and 4 points off league leading Lokomotiv. Nine rounds left, Lokomotiv lead, Zenit 2nd 3 points away (title expected), Spartak 3rd 4 points off and Dynamo 4th 5 points off. CSKA 5th 7 points off, but still just 4 points away from 2nd. So could go any way for AVB and rest of them.
