How did all this get on to talking about Madrid? The boarding pass and all that suggested Franco flew to Barcelona and it's a 400 mile, pain in the arse drive or an hours flight from Barcelona

Because, some random fan met him at the airport and Franco told him all of the most intimate secrets about our club......as DoF are known to do with complete strangers. And we know this because he got a picture with him. The picture is well known to be a legally binding agreement that the taker is privy to all details of the subjects business life. This was almost itk gold, like the zokora pics, a guy being in the right place at the right time. However it just seems that Franco said too much to believe, why would he say all that to a random guy? Italians do like to talk, but I just don't see it. Time will tell I guess.

Was just listening to H&J on talkSPORT (only decent show on that station), and they had a transfer update with a reporter stating that David Villa is very interested in moving to the PL this Summer. Wonder if this is why Baldini is heading off to Madrid? Also, when asked about our lack of experience and leaders a week or so ago, JJetset did say that it would 'all be rectified'.
We seem to be very interested in Jay Rodriguez, but with his injury, David Villa may be an excellent short term option to play that left-wing/second-striker position, and will bring that experience and quality with him.

Di Marzio has confirmed that Real Madrid are negotiating with Verona for Iturbe. That would likely mean a fringe wing player is on the way out. It is either for one of them or Morata.

He could be a useful player, as he would provide experience to our squad, as well as being capable of playing across the front midfield. He is also a free agent come June, so we should easily be able to afford him.
At Getafe, they have an excellent leftback in Escudero. He is also only 24. He would be a great addition to the squad. They also have Lisandro López, who is a quality centerback.
At Rayo Vallecano, I'd expect us to look at Saúl Ñíguez. He is a 19 yo centerback who had a great season. He can also play as a CDM or a CM.
