Gotta be honest, I had never heard of Lamela until someone mentioned him on here recently, must've been Snarf.

Is he an out and out striker / centre forward, judging by the wiki stats there he only seems to score about 1 in 4. Roma paid quite alot of money for him though.

He's a wing forward that can also play in the behind-the-striker role. He's bloody quick, excellent ball skills, good passer and a good finisher, works hard too. He may not score a lot but he creates a hell of a lot from the way he plays (in a similar way to how Modric did, but different position obviously). One of the best young prospects around, and at only 21, I reckon he's going to be world class. Roma won't sell him, not for mega-money anyway.

By all accounts (not that I know), but the likes of Pjanic, Osvaldo and Lamela (especially him, apparently) would all be very good additions to our squad/team.
