good question mate, not thick at all. In my mind i think it now ends in 2017 as it's an extension to the current contract not an extension to the contract when it's finished, especially as it'll be on improved terms. yes? maybe? i'm going for a lie down......

Probably extension to 2017, with increase in wages. Excellent news, he stays regardless of Champions League, and if we do have to sell we can demand a huge fee. IMO though keeping him at the club will be a big draw to other players even if we don't get into the CL.

Would be the best bit of business of the summer if true. Should announce it before Sunday as a bit of a boost to the team, fans etc IMHO.
Hopefully a sign that bale is happy with the plans for next season as well , as him signing a new contract is a good signal intent by spurs and to transfer targets etc.
