the most important part :

Bale continued: "I came here because I was offered first-team football in the Premiership.
"They were the most interested in me and stayed keen. I was going to join in January [2007] but I wasn't quite sure so they even waited for me until the summer. They showed a lot of faith, a lot of respect for me as a player and I just want to repay that now."

good he would like to repay that, would love to see him here until the end of his career .. but don't blame me if I'm starting to worry, he is our best talanted player now.

i respect your choices, it might be i said that because he is my current favourite player, but i really rate him very highly more than these, when i saw his determination to win every ball, good crosses and a great runs, i really thing he is very good player, he just need to start as LB where he won't need to waste his energy on chasing players.

I would say Woodgate is our best player (consistently) at the moment. Bale still has a way to go but has LOADS of potential.

I think I'll go with that call Mido Woody really is the biz of late

I heard that we'd never won a game he'd played the other day on the radio so did my own research.

- he got injured at newcastle last season
- up until that point, we'd won three games (derby 4-0 in the prem, boro 2-0 in the CC, and Famagusta in the UEFA)
- he only played in the boro and famagusta game and I think he missed the derby game.

so yeah he hasn' won in the prem with us.
