Gareth Bale = winger
See what I mean.
I have scanned over this riveting debate and have come to the conclusion that Bale is best on the left bing or the left wack.
Or is the whole thing just right wank?
Not riveting at all...which is why i wanted a sticky made months ago to clarify that Bale's primary position was full-back.
Thanks for the help in resolving this:-|
When Spurs did crossbar challenge Bale said his position is 'Left Side'.

That to me says he is both a fullback and a winger, a bit like John Arne-Riise was for Pool. Now can everyone stop arguing like petulant, pedantic bitches and accept that Bale has more than one position and that he is great in both.
Thanks for taking the whole point on board:roll:
Bale has also said several times that he is a full-back and he sees his future at full-back. But that is not the issue. The issue is that posters were stating flat out that he IS a winger, and even calling anyone who couldn't see that idiots...at a time when all of his matches since he reappearance had been at full-back, most of the statements by himself, his manager and his club, where that he was a full-back. it was fair enough, to point out to these people that his primary position is full-back and secondly, on the wing. It was then taken across several threads, and has been quite insulting.
If you had got up to speed, rather than impulse posting your helpful comments you would know that some of us have said plainly several times that he can play in both positions, and play them very well.
Wait a minute...wasn't Riise primarily a full-back:shrug:
