Getting to the tapping up stage now I would say
Suarez now saying it would be hard to say no to Real if they wanted him. Hopefully RM will turn their attention to him now.

love the way they come out and suggest "we are only prepared to £45m".
Well, sod off then - you obviously can't afford him.
Tap up another player - preferably someone who's in your price range.
I am amazed by the number of fans (not necessarily on here) who keep saying its worth selling Bale if we get x amount of money and buy x players. It's such nonsense. Where do people get it from? The cash doesn't go in our bank accounts so who cares what price we get? Bale is the third best player in the world, arguably the best to ever play for Tottenham and so good that he could win the title if given the right support. Why do we always have to go two steps backward to go one forward. I want to see top footballers at Tottenham, not dozens of decent players-we pay enough for the privilege. I really thought DL would not consider selling because of the uproar from fans but it doesn't appear there is likely to be much. I feel in a minority in that I think selling Bale now would be an utter disaster.
