Just found this on spursnetwork via NewsNow.

Devastating news has been floating around today involving Tottenham's young Prodigy Gareth Bale. The Welsh international picked up an injury a few weeks and it now looks like we have seen the last of him for this season. Rumours are that Bale will miss the next 7 months of action with the foot injury he sustained.

This is terrible news for Tottenham with Bale proving to be a superb buy for the North London Club. After waiting so long for a left back and then the long transfer ordeal with Southampton this comes as a huge blow.

Gareth Bale has made the step up to the Premier League look incredibly easy and he has been one of Tottenham's best players this season.

Rumours linking Tottenham with AFC Ajax's Urby Emanuelson are becoming more prominent with news of this injury.

Very bad news if it's true.

Fuck me I'm in a bad mood today. Two undeserved red cards and this, and then Merson spouting his fucking ugly mug off.

I think I actually need to stay away from Spurs news for a while as this is all putting a severe dampner on our recent much-cheering run of form.

Don't worry guys. We have Lee and Malbranque, who seem never to get injured. The main thing is not to rush Bale back. He's still literally a kid and if we rush him back, we could have another Michael Owen/Ledders on our hands.

SEVEN MONTHS!!!! For a foot injury?

Where are SC's medical experts? What could this be? Ankle ligaments? Achilles?

Ffs - it's certainly not his fifth metatarsal.

If this, and the Ledley news turn out to be true, what a complete downer.
