As Chris says, he's played there before several times for Wales. He's actually a very, very good 'number 10' and he's even been left up on his own for nearly a half due to a sending off.

He's already our best player in two positions, so maybe there's two more.

I'm not suprised he's a forward for Wales. He does that for us sometimes. Not only is he a clinical finisher but his goals against Arsenal and first against Stoke were scored from funny locations for a LWB to pop up.

In fact lets sack Harry and make Bale our player/manager/physio. I only fear we would be under-using him.

Bale would have got VDV in cheaper than Levy could too, and he would probably have managed to bring in Dzeko for a reasonable fee and Ronaldhino on loan.

The way I see it we either replace Levy with Bale or Bale should be the DoF as well as out and out striker, manager, Physio and kit man.

 Ha can even work in the club store in his spare moments - I'm sure he'd manage the cash registers better than anyone we've got now.

your right, I am also not happy with the standard of stewarding at the Lane, so next time he is injuried.....

(how long before this becomes a Bale/chuck norris type thread with reference to his deer face...well monkey face in this case)

Bale doesn't score goals. He simply intimidates the ball into crossing the goal line.

Gareth Bale is soooo hard he terrified a team of rugged Swiss mountaineers into playing like young boys (much to Whinger's delight).

Gareth Bale may be great but I bet he still can't locate Steve Slade.

Bale reminds me of gerrard

With his engine, passing, size, and touch he'd be an awesome box-to-box CM.

A goalkeeper once tried to stop a Gareth Bale volley once. He now has no hands.
