Barnett is the Chairman of Stellar Group and have previous in tapping up, was fined £100k by the FA and banned from working as an agent for 18 months in 2006

Indeed but tapping up is rarely for the benefit of the player. It's to ensure a move happens and so money for the agent. Bale might be a nice lad and I hope he's a smart lad in the end and doesn't bow to any pressure he might encounter. As long as a move is his desire then no harm no foul.

The agent may feel its about the right time to cash in as Bale's stock is so high at the moment, so getting Bale transferred would be in his interest. After all,you cannot convince me that he is in it as an agent for the love of Bale.
