I've sent him a message on Facebook, I asked him is he still following us and watching our games. I wonder if I'm going to get a reply lol.

It is disappointing to see him used in such a way, he is just left isolated out right.

Maybe I am reading too much into things, but only Modric ever seems to speak to him on the pitch. Ronaldo speaks to him only to squabble over a freekick etc.

But 45 minutes in and the stats will show another assist for Gareth Bale.

Modric is the main man for Real now though. What a player

El Mundo Deportivo claim Gareth Bale’s move from Spurs to Real Madrid cost €265m in total

With Neymar’s summer move from Santos to Barcelona still taking up plenty of column inches, and potentially leading to Sandro Rosell resigning as president of the Catalan giants, attention has swiftly moved to Gareth Bale’s transfer from Spurs to Real Madrid.

El Mundo Deportivo splash with the claim on Thursday that the whole deal to bring Gareth Bale from Spurs to Real Madrid cost at least 265 million euros.

Officially, despite a lengthy and detailed summer transfer saga, the transfer fee is still open to conjecture.

Real Madrid say it was 91 million euros. Tottenham claimed the fee was 101 million euros.
Los Blancos paid between 16 and 25 million euros last summer to Spurs. The rest (75 million euros) will be paid every year in August 2014, 2015 and 2016.

Bale is thought to earn around 13-14 million euros a season at Real Madrid.

In addition, Los Blancos are thought to spend 6 million euros on insurance for Gareth Bale, per year.

If anything were to incapacitate Bale from playing for Real Madrid again, this entitles them to 91 million euros in insurance money, according to El Mundo.

The Catalan paper go on to wonder why Neymar’s transfer is under scrutiny as the biggest move ever in the transfer market has hardly received any investigation.

El Mundo round up all the details above and conclude the deal totalled 265 million euros and question Florentino Perez’s assertion that Gareth Bale was paid for with the “resources” of Real Madrid.

Anyone see the Granada game?
Bale was subbed at half-time for Jese.

Injured or not good?

Well tbf to Messi, he's no slouch in the CL either. If he can propel the Argies to a WC then he'd have to be considered.

I still stick with Zizou in my lifetime. Turned out be a bellend as RM mouthpiece but fucking hell, sexual chocolate on a football pitch.

Dembele has flashes of Zidane, but it's more like seeing a bit of side ball rather than full frontal schlongage.

Haha, you know what I mean, sometimes when he picks up the ball you think he could charge through the very gates of hell.... And then he trips over his own knickers.

Dembele reminds me more of Gazza...both classic and current versions.
