i think you mean la liga team of the year.

same thing isn't it

La Liga so far ahead in terms of technical ability, skill and quality than any other league

Just look at the dominance of the Spanish National side and the 2 best players in La Liga / World aren't even Spanish

Don't really think the defence and keeper are justified choices if that is the chosen world 11. My back 5 would be:
Buffon
Lahm-Kompany-T.Silva-A.Cole.
What a team that is in the OP though.

So basically every player from Real or Barca, except for Falcao.

Ridiculous!!!

And when maybe Falcao goes Real in the summer. Next years team will be 5xReal and 6xBarca players.

Yawn!

How the fuck is RVP not in that team. Carried the Arae last season and has pretty much won United the title this season and its only half over. Probably the most consistent striker in football outside of Ronaldo and Messi in terms of goals.

Off hand I'm not sure what Falcaos goals record is last seasons and I know it's been good this season, but seriously, no RVP is a bit of a sham in my opinion.

It's much like the PFA team of the year. The players just vote for these that are deemed the best in their position as opposed to these who have had a great 12 months.

I think the secret footballer said something about it.

Ramos cant defend to save his life he is a thug, who gets saved by the style of play and quality of his teammates, funny how pretty much 2nd choice barca rb is in the 11, a CB who has had a terrible year, yeah he won the euros but barca fans werent happy with his GF or him this or last season

Marcelo has had a good year but people seem so up Barca and Real Madrid arse its unbelievable, I think the fact english teams are arrogant and dont take Europa and the champions league group stages seriously is making people think that spain is stronger than it is

I would have given it to Ronaldo.

I would like Ronaldo to be recognised but it has to go to Messi with him breaking the record this year. Maybe this year is Ronaldo's year!

I like Ramos a lot but he (and Casillas) have not had a good twelve months and shouldn't be in the team IMO.

I do agree that the majority are obsessed with Spain and La Liga (rightly so, I am) or just follow the trend. It would have been nice if the players broadened their horizons and appreciated other players, teams and league.

Buffon
Lichtsteiner, Hummels, Kompany, Marcelo
Pirlo, Iniesta, Yaya Toure
Zlatan, Falcao, Cavani

I would like Ronaldo to be recognised but it has to go to Messi with him breaking the record this year. Maybe this year is Ronaldo's year!

Messi's year was unique but his team didn't win anything important, for that reason alone he should be third behind Ronaldo and Iniesta IMO.
