Not available. Has the Spanish government finally passed the law?

Lovely jubbly. Barca and Madrid will still be massive. But they will not be able to blow other teams away in transfers anymore.

Just have to see what the EU says about state aid and their charitable status now.

Odds of Bale ending up at United have probably just shot up then?

The Galacticos policy is important to their commercial income, which is going to have to increase to make up the shortfall, so I wouldn't think so. I'd not be surprised to see Real Madrid take some really bullish action and buy big again this summer.

They'd have to buy big particularly if they lose out to Barca in La Liga.

They're facing a transfer ban (ala Barca). So will probably go large this summer.

That was kind of my point really. Plenty of their moronic fans seem to have it in for Bale, and right now he'd still command a massive fee. If there's going to be any issues over future spending and commercial interests, I wouldn't be surprised to see them cash in on Bale and bring in someone like Hazard.

Loved Bale. But really hope that Madrid fans lynch him and eat his testicles. Maybe then our good players might not think the grass is greener.

As soon as he left Spurs I generally stopped caring about his career, but I don't want to see him playing in the Prem again.
