Sad sad day for the club, it's rumored he has infact called it a day. For me the most comfortable defender I have witnessed, a loyal servant and an amazing youth product. Versatile also and to think we utlilised him as a defensive midfielder under pleat !!!

So join me and shed a tear or two

"oh ledley ledley, he's only got one knee, he's better than j*** te*** oh ledley ledley!"

Rather than assume what could of been what is your greatest memory?

Mine is last season at Sunderland home, the keeper thumped the ball up field and ledley took it down "on his knee" with absolute ease, it was so typical of ledley no one realised he had done it! Breathtaking

Long live the king

Really annoys me that for our club captain and legend the only song we can come up with involves Sol Campbell (or your version a dig at John Terry). Ledley deserves better.

True legend, I genuinely think this is the best thing he could do, I'd not want to see him disabled because he carried on playing.

I hope he stays at the club in some way shape or form, still think he can offer a lot to the young guys like Caulker.

Long live Ledley King!

Such a waste, he should have been playing for another 5 years, with the way he reads the game he could have played later then most.

I'm still clinging onto hope that he can still play for us, in more of a bit part role though.
