Seems sensible. What Real definitely need now is a completely unproven manager.

Not sure why they don't just cut out the middle man and make Ronaldo manager.

Apparently he had a meeting with Perez where he told him it's either Benitez or me.
That club just epitomises everything that's wrong with football IMO.

I think Zidane will make an excellent coach, although RM as your first appointment isn't so much jumping in at the deep end, as sky diving into the middle of the ocean.

That club is a circus and the emphasis on mega signings and mega egos will always make for instability.

Perhaps Zinedine 'Zen-master' Zidane is exactly what they need.

Completely agree. Hate seeing players like Bale and Modric there. I hope the club, as a whole, eats itself.

So, mangerial life expectancy at Madrid is now down to 18 games or whatever it is. That's just pathetic.

What's the deal anyway? I don't follow European football at all. Madrid are doing ok aren't they?

I know they've been grooming Zidane for the job but seems a bit too soon for him now.

Perez did this to himself by sacking Ancelotti for no reason at all. If only he could have saved his stupidity for now when mr "my win ratio is second to none" was available.

Lets start up the wagon, boys! Tim Sherwood for Madrid!:p
