He's doing no different from any other footballer, or indeed what any of us on here would do in similar circumstances. The Club can buy out his contract but is appears are prepared to let it run down.

This is not f**kin nuts or disgusting. Footballers get paid a fortune because their shelf life is so limited and the revenue this form of entertainment generates is even more lucrative. They have to be in peak physical condition for a career period of 10 years and have to act professional with so much abuse levied at them in public.

What is disgusting is the amount of money bankers and traders and Directors/Executives in financial institutions seem to be paying themselves despite not being talented at very much at all. They bring the country to its knees and gleefully accept a government hand out to save their arses and now they still paying themselves 6 figure bonuses for doing f**k all
He's not bloody playing football though is he. Thats the point.
Please think before mouthing off.
And us for the short shelf life, oh how my heart bleeds. Their career is over in such a short time so they have to amass a fortune quickly where as the rest of us lucky fuckers get to work till we're 65 for fk all.
You're implying bankers dont earn their money but they wouldn't still be paid 40,000 a week for sitting on their arse.

Mouthing off? Says the one having a rant!

No, I didn't say feel sorry for them I was tempting you to use some perspective and context but seems you missed that one.

And yes he's not playing, why is he not playing? Has he refused to play? Is he faking an injury? No, he's been frozen out. Not paying him would be like your boss telling you "sit in the back room and not do any work and oh by the way you're not getting paid". There are these pesky things called employment laws which kind of stop employers from doing that.

And by the way, bankers do fuck all. I know because I've worked in banking. If you're working to 65 for fuck all who's fault is that.

Having watched some of Benny's inept displays for QPR in the Championship it is no surprise he is nowhere near the first team. Can't blame him for sitting tight as we all would in his situation but I do question his application and desire, which has probably prevented him from becoming the payer his talents deserve.

There's something to be said about a player who doesnt force a move when he wont be playing and is prfectly happy to do nothing and just collect his paycheck. Extreme lack of desire and love of the game.
