Don't know but if he wan't in the squad today to face the defending Champions everything points to the deal being done i would suggest?
Hearing through the grape vine Manure are sniffing around him I hope its just the smell of dung from Old Trafford.

Not saying i dont want him at the lane, but we really need someone that can help Kane who needs to rest and get back to his best. The only think that worries me is this will he be happy to sit on the bench in games when we need to try something else maybe when playing the top teams.I really think we should go go Austin who maybe we can get for 12 to 15m.i dont see why pay over the odds for Berahino like we have done in the past with players.

Well, he hasn't had a tremendous start to the season. No doubt better for the team not to play him atm. They can't make idealistic statements after having worse achievements than Spurs so far.

This is what I hate about the transfer window. I want Poch to get his squad together and get working on them. Berahino could be an asset but his best years may be in a few years time.

Why do our "fans" always think it is just Spurs who "piss about" when it comes to transfers.
There are far too many of you that naively believe the media far too easily.
WBA do not want to sell so they may, just maybe "pissing about"?

Just a thought!

Well I think the reason why is that Levy has does the same thing in virtually every transfer window over the last ten years. Not naivety, just a fact. Fans get frustrated when they see other teams doing their transfer business, whilst watching Spurs have yet another crap start to a season. Starting a season with only one recognised striker for a top Premiership team is f*cking criminal in my opinion!

But who would you have signed? I can't believe Berahino is our first choice. Benteke wanted Liverpool.

Very few people have clue what 'actually' Levy does or does not do when it comes to transfers. The press try to paint a picture of Levy and some people choose to believe the stereotypical rubbish the come out with.

Well I don't know, but we definetly shouldn't find ourselves in this position. If I had a network of scouts working for me, I'm sure that I would have signed someone by now. Let's face it, no one could be as ineffective as Soldado was! I probably would have gone for a stop-gap, older striker in the mean time (bit like when we signed Gudjohnsen). This side needs an injection of experience and some proper leadership.

Glad you used the past tense, he scored his debut goal around about the time you posted!

If some of the critic fans were in charge we would have spent up to our limits on a shiny new striker who would be found out as unsuitable in a year or two, we be restricted again as we have to wait to off load them before signing someone and this process all over again.
Read the unwritten.
We have seemingly decided that Austin isn't among our top choices, we should accept this and stop wondering why we aren't in for him.
We have quietly been investigating other options but they haven't been fruitful (players gone where they have preferred, signed new contracts clubs not selling etc). We should accept this and stop saying we always leave it till too late.
We have moved on to other choices we are pursuing now.

Ineffective as the tactics employed. Soldado plays like Lineker... Crosses into the box. Kane plays like Sheringham... Plays deeper.

We don't play wingers so where were the crosses?. It's like Hugo is still world class despite Spurs conceding 50+ goals last season! Oh wait the defence didn't supply any defensive service.

Just reported on SSN that Berahino has had a written transfer request rejected. I think it is only a matter of time now before he leaves West Brom.
