There's a paradox there though - he often puts personal achievements ahead of team ones. There are examples where he's almost demanded to play when he's not fit, which has rarely (if ever) been in the best interests of the team.
Sometimes the two are on opposite paths.
So true. He supposedly wants to leave to win trophies, but he also wants to stay in the premier league so he can break Shearer’s record. He can’t have his cake and eat it too, we either sell him abroad for him to win trophies, like he says he wants, or he stays with us to better his personal achievements which he also wants.
