A Tottenham fan called up after the Reading 6-4 win and they asked him if he thought we'd finish in the top four. He said he didn't, but he did think we'd win the Carling Cup. They then cut him off and laughed at him, calling him deluded for saying we would finish in the top four, even though he didn't... They said it a few times afterwards as well. ****s.

That was Terry Christian. He is a knob, that's his job and he does it well. I kept listening in the hope that a Spurs fan would stick it to him, however the more that phoned the worse we seemed. Still, at least we looked better than West Ham who tried to make out they were our rivals and just got the piss taken out of them.

They always do for some reason. I've never cared at all about West Ham, and don't know many Tottenham fans that have, but they seem to hate us. Probably fairly similar to our rivalry with Arsenal, but they have and do still hate us, just not as much as we hate them.

interesting this would get shrugged off, defoe hasnt got much of his contract left and would he rather be 3rd or 4th choice striker at spurs or a champs league team like united and probably get paid more.

JD isnt a crap player who cant get a game, he has berbs and keane in front of him,plus man utd play far more games than spurs a season. I could see him playing more but really i would see man utd going for someone more like berbs as a target man as they dont have anyone like that at all
