is this like our 10th training ground in 3 years?

or was it that the plans kept getting rejected?

Sorry to introduce the normal level of skepticism but where did you hear this from?

I know we were confident about getting it sorted last May, but since then it's been very quiet.

Massive step forward for the club, and great news. You see the top 4's training grounds and they are state of the art so we need to have a similar set up to them.

I bet we have to build 8 bridges, 10 roundabouts, 14 schools, a health spa, 85 parks, 216 sets of swings and 1 hot dog van.

Yes, build a hot dog van.

And thanks to Spurs Mobile for texting me at half 11 last night. Really appreciate that. :|

Alright: Don't flame me....This is just my opinion okay?

We have proved one thing: In recent memory we suck big time when it comes to brining youth through the ranks.

The last was Ledders and he was more a Lillyshawl/El Tel product than that of our youth coaches. I honestly think the money would be better suited to put towards a bigger stadium.

We are funding MAJOR projects recently:

Ramos is being paid dizzying wages, the planning alone for the training facilities has already cost millions. The stadium/expansion public transport is a priority which is going to cost a lot more money.

Now if we had a history of creating our own Bales, Lennons etc I would be delighted. But lets face it, we BUY our talent. We never raise it from training.

If we get in some crack coaches for the kiddies up then it may be worth it. But with our recent record of abject failure I am not convinced it is money well spent and could prove to be a money pit that will curtail transfer fees and stadium upgrades.
