In Montreal we all know how big a decision it was for Luis Binks, a top performer for the Impact this season, to leave such a major club as Tottenham. It’s been well-documented.

And the penny seems finally to be dropping across the Atlantic.

This one is interesting.

Was he that highly rated at the club? Or is this a case of a young player over selling himself in a naive market?

Seems to me like he wasn't prepared to earn his shot and actually seems to look down on those who have stayed and are on the fringes of the squad.

Seems he was hoping to play in the first team at 18-19, but he should have looked not just our club but at the EPL and realised that player's of that age don't often get to First Team status, and only then if you can offer something more the other starting XI.

Also, as good (or even as good as you think) as you are, experience you haven't got, at 18.

He's been REALLY good for Montreal. Looks like one of the best CBs in the league. I know it's easy to dismiss that because it's MLS, but keep in mind most teams there spend pretty much all their big money on attacking players, so there are some good players to defend against.

Perhaps he just thought Canada would be a better place to live for the rest of his life and took the opportunity.

He’s said that Mourinho involved him more in first team training than Poch ever did but the decision to move had already been made. Seems it was a lack of pathway to the first team that was the problem.

Really unbelivable policy of Poch, you only have to look at Harry Kane to see the value of 1st team football.
Even Chelscum know the score.
