they'll be up after Wednesday but will tire late in the game. if we can keep them quiet early then I fancy us to win it. but can't say i'm hugely confident.

Would have said the same with Neville though, and we'll be lucky if it is Bale against just Carr. One thing we didn't do against Everton was to get Bale in behind Neville and the Everton defence, like so:

Bale would cause havoc down that side especially if we can play those balls. Modric looks to play Bale in a lot like that but so does Jenas and like someone else said it's a shame he's injured to be honest.

Here's hoping we can really get Bale into this game, good thing is that Lennon will be full of confidence on the other side.

Croatia have never played Modric and Kranjcar as the central 2 in a 4-4-2. Stop talking rubbish. Kranjcar plays the VDV role for Croatia.

I like Niko, but even with the best will in the world he is not, and has never been (even when he had a purple patch last season) one of our 2 best players.
