Is he the first American coach in the Prem?
Have I missed something?
"I want Leicester to win the league for my friend Ranieri" - then he puts out a team with a ridiculous, untried formation with no striker, his team practically score two goals for Leicester and duly roll over for them, despite not being safe from relegation and having been on a good run prior to that.
stillitano is an idiot. Thats been known.Charlie Stillitano on Sirius this morning over here in the states talking him up big time, in the same breath as Poch, Klopp, Ancelotti etc - utter joke.
Then the sound bite that they like to play all the time:
"When I have a chance to observe different managers, the ones that do good work, I mention Pochettino, Klopp, [Thomas] Tuchel that took over for Klopp at Dortmund, he’s a fantastic young manager," Bradley told SiriusXM. "We haven’t even talked about the Guardiolas and the Ancelottis. But I’ll tell you what, maybe I’m stupid, but I think I’m a manager in and around that level"
Yes mate - you are stupid.
First game? At the emirates. Thrown into the fire.

We didnt deserve to win the title but its crap that Guidolin essentially threw the game because of the title raceMeh, if we can't beat teams like West Brom at home in a title race its irrelevant what others do.

I always find that attitude really reductive. Every team has disappointing results where they don't beat a team they're expected to, but someone has to win the league. It's funny you picked not beating West Brom at home to illustrate your point considering neither did Leicester.
It's not like he took over a poor Egypt side though, when he took over, they had won the last 3 AFCON's and were at their highest ever FIFA ranking. There's no doubt it'll be extremely difficult but ill give him the benefit of the doubt for a bit. He took Egypt, with no football league, to 1 game from the World Cup in the middle of of a civil war and massive political turmoil before managing a club with legitimately no money at all. He's faced adversity before. Needs to do well off the bat though to silence the abundance of critics
They were a somewhat decent side but you have to look at what he faced in Egypt. No league, massive political turmoil and a civil war. Not to mention, the football offices were bombed. It's not like he took over a poor Egypt side though, when he took over, they had won the last 3 AFCON's and were at their highest ever FIFA ranking.
