There is parking right outside the ground, didn't take us too long to get out of it last season, think it's about a fiver. Very excited as this is my first game of the season.

We went Manchester for the weekend last season, and just drove upto Bolton on the Saturday. Much better to know that you're travelling all the way up there for something other than the Reebok Stadium.

Yeah, I go every season and to the rugby as they're my rugby team  Quite similar to Bolton really, nice little stadium, and could do with more home fans but still an ok atmosphere.

I've been to the JJB. Didn't particularly enjoy the footballing experience there though. Their fans were shocking - quiet and loads of empty seats. Ours were ok, but mainly singing "we pay your benefits" lol.

Football was dire, weather was rainy-ish and cold, and we lost 1-0.

On the bright side, I joined up with a few yiddos (i went up alone) and we took over a couple of pubs opposite the train station! Had a couple of scottish yiddos in the group and they smoked the pub out (ignored the ban completely), and sang as loud as possible, pissing off the locals!!!

But yeah....been once, wouldn't go back

I like Wigan. I've been 3 times.

Like Netty says, it could do with being more full, but the fans to the left of the away end are always awesome with the banter, great craic and a good atmosphere in and around the ground. Lovely little stadium too.

Bolton, is'nt too bad a stadium, I usually go on the train though cause it's only about 20mins for me.

Wigan again is ok, but as others have said, the home support is rubbish.

I was wondering, as I haven't ordered any tickets yet, what do you think the chances are of getting them on the day, thats what I usually, but looking at some of these posts, we are taking a good support!!

You need to have one of these before hand, if you do go (whilst you are up there...)

£10 Breakfast!

Mario's Cafe in Westhoughton do a big breakfast for £10! Eat it all in 20 mins without a drink to wash it down with and you get it free!

It's 10 eggs, 10 bacon, 10 sausage, 10 toast, 5 black puddings, tomatoes, beans and mushrooms.

For anyone fancying the challenge, the address is:

67 Market St
Westhoughton, Bolton, BL5 3AG

I'm not sure if you want to sit in the away end as I've always had tickets but you'll get in the home end no problem.

Went on a coach to the Reebok last year, was f*cking freezing in the ground and we were in the back row of the top tier. Was almost worth it until they scored with about 10 mins to go.

As many have said already, it's a nice little ground, shame that they cant muster more support, although the fans they do get just boo the team anyway!

I enjoy Bolton away, only seen us win once and that was in the cup despite 8 visits.
Usually a good sing song and I fancy us on Saturday. COYS

under no circumstances park in the official away car park, unless your very lucky, or theyve changed their procedure, youll be there forever. When all the spaces are gone they park ppl in the roads and block every1 in. Nor should you park in tesco next door. I think i mentioned that earlier. Last time i went i found a car pak round the corner, where you would turn left at the crossroads to go to tesco, go right. COst about a 5er and had easy access to the back route to the motorway.

Nice one, can you send me a linky on google maps please?

if you go by train (to horwich parkway) you don't need a ab. it's a very short walk and you can't get lost cos you can see it from the station
