I actually thought that was quite a good first half, we had chances and could easily have been a couple up. Lennon is having loads of joy down the right and if he continues should cause more problem second half. What do people want results wise tonight from the Chelsea vs Newcastle game? Personally I think a Newcastle win would be good for us as I see them dropping at least 2 and prob 3 points to city so we'd see Chelsea 4 points back and potentially Newcastle 2-3 points back going into the last game if we do the business against Villa!

Not too bad so far. Great goal from Modric Got into some good positions but been wasteful. Massive let off there right at the end of the half though and we need to convert more of these chances.

Need to see a better contribution from Ade and Bale.

The ref needs to open his eyes, our centrebacks are getting fouled every time they jump for the ball. Hopefully something like that doesnt cost us.

Well we deserve to be in front on that first hlf performance, 8 shots on goal to their 4 of which 6 wre on target to their 2, and close to 60% posession.

Need to go up a gear in the second half though and get another goal - Bale could do more as well

Newcastle to win tonight would be perfect for us, would mean we only need 1 win to finish above Chelsea (would be a draw but their GD is slightly better). I fully expect Newcastle to get done in their game against City, so if things stay as they are would be fantastic.
