I was just wondering which teams you find play the most boring/exciting game of football?...

Spurs play the most exciting game of football obviously...
I hate watching Liverpool...simply because they are boring...
I like watching the gooners when they are getting thrashed...
Man-ure nited are also a good watch sometimes...

Anyone think the same?

(it seems really quite again today)

Most boring are Chelsea.
We probably are the most exciting but we have had the odd very boring game, like the last few UEFA games. (Granted, it picked up towards the end.)

Most boring are Chelsea and the various long ball merchants such as Bolton.

Most exciting, we can be when we wanna be, and anyone else who plays fast, gung-ho type football!

Chelsea = The most stupifying bordem ever. Especially when they play a team like Liverpool.

We are the most exciting! Although strangely not in our last two games, very dissapointed with those performances.

The boro - blades game was probably the most boring game i have seen all season. I would say the arse game was exciting except for the fact that we were so perfect it wasn't that exciting. That honour goes to the CC final.

For me its Chelski, Boro, Everton, Liverpool, Bolton and Newcastle (esp under Big Sam) now its mostly a comedy show. All big Sam's teams are as dull as ditch water though.

As for Le Arse, everyone raves about their football however, for me, it just infuriates. They're cheating b*****ds, always diving, whinging at the ref, taking cheap shots and getting even cheaper decisions. On the rare occasion i do watch them, its obviously to watch them lose but that seldom turns out the way i want it.

Most entertaining; us of course as well as Manyoo, AC Milan (3 years ago) Barca and Sevilla.

Everton can be the most negative team, the times they've had Johnson on his own upfront just chasing the ball about. You can't compare them to Boro or Bolton because they're poor teams that have to keep it tight, Everton are just boring.

Chelsea and Liverpool with Bolton and Everton coming a close second. Every time Liverpool and Chelsea play each other i lose the will to live after 15 minutes and have to turn off. I thank my lucky stars when i check teletext later and find it was a drab boring 0-0 draw.

Agree with the Bundesliga being boring as well. The Dutch league is also mind numbing. For pure entertainment you cant beat La Liga.

Oh, I don't know, you can usually count on there being a fair few goals in the Eredivisie. For sheer mind-numbing, ballsaching tedium Ligue 1, apart from Lyon (and Bordeaux and Marseille now and again) pretty much takes the biscuit. I started watching it when I got Setanta just to see all these wonderful players Spursking keeps telling us about, but there are more edge-of-the-seat thrills in pro-celebrity petanque.

Everton aren't a boring team any more at all. I'd say other than ourselves, United and Arsenal, they probably play the best football in the Premiership. Excellent passing game through the midfield architechts Arteta and Pienaar.

I have always had an affinity towards Everton following a school trip to Goodison many years ago. They can play when they want to and, yes, Arteta is quality but they do seem to scrap a lot of 1 nils.

What I fail to understand is why Chelski are so boring. With the quality players they have why do they play so negatively sometimes. If those players were given the chance to attack more with more of a free role it could have the potential to be quite scary!

As for a good team to watch.....it makes me sick to say it but Manure play one hell of a football match.

Throughout the years from the mid 60s, iI have hated watching Liverpool as I cannot understand how for 4 decades now, they always seem to want players who raise their elbows and legs high when they run. Even the very skillful Steve Highway ran like that. They are the most consistently good but inelegant team since as I said, the mid 60s.

Villa! The new wimbeldon , christ this lot are boring! Watched them quite a bit this season as have a few Villa supporting friends. They never seem to score from open play, just set piece after set piece, long ball after long ball. Absolute muck, thank f**k we didn't end up with MON a few years back.
