Almost certain we are going to concede early doors just so they can put us all through the heart ache like they love doing. Never easy with Spurs and I fully expect us to be shitting bricks all game. I think we will get through but only just. Think we are going to lose the game 3-1.

We need to keep it tight for the first 20 mins ( not something I’m confident on though).

The good thing is that Dortmund will have no alternative but to attack us which should see more space for us to get that vital away goal.

Can't think of a 4-0 under Poch, but we did lose 5-1 in the last game of the "Leicester" season at St James Park.
See that as a one off. The players lost all motivation after the Chelsea game, we lost our last two after that. I think it will be nervy tonight, but we won't lose 4-0. We very rarely go a game without scoring, and they need 4 to begin with.

The way we have been playing latey.....I'm expecting a convincing 2-0 away win. We will all be on here moaning about why couldn't they play like this in the past 3 games instead of enjoying the win:happy:

Thanks pal. Lovely option to be able to bring on if it looks like Dortmund are getting through the middle too easily. Or even if we get a goal, look comfortable & bring him on to shut up shop and see the game out.

I'm personally fucking chuffed he's back. So so important to what Poch wants everyone else to do.

Without doubt. He has to be 100% fit though. He made an appearance (I can’t remember against who) after his appendix operation and he looked very rusty. But yes, the kind of player we would like to bring on if we need to. His organisation skills are very valuable.

Just seen we’ve scored in our last 17 CL games which is slightly mad. I think I’m right in saying our worst away result under pochettino to a top 6 is 4-1 at city. And only one result under pochettino would not be enough tonight the 5–1 at Newcastle.

Just keep it tight at defence and Dortmund will get frustrated. Easier said than done though. On the flipside Dortmund hasn't, similarly to us, been playing well as of late. This is two teams in bad form coming up against each other.

Anyhow, Dortmund has to go for it at some point in the match and despite our recent form we're good enough to take advantage of that. For what it's worth, a colleauge of mine is a Dortmund fan and he has no hope of them going through to the next round.

Please don't embarrass us tonight Spurs.

That's all I ask. The whole of Europe will be watching this game.

Bloody hell, there's no let up is there? It's just one big game after another.

Guess this is what they mean by tough at the top.

Not sure they absolutely need to attack us from the off. A disciplined 1-0 half time lead will suit them. They can then try for a goal earlyish second and then go for it. They cannot afford to concede to us or all will be lost. I'm just hoping third position in our league is better or at least equal to the top of the German League.

Everyone of us wants us to be the best, and this is what it involves. Every game is big if you want to win trophies.

Maybe so, but they certainly won’t be putting 10 men behind the ball. And as you say, at some point they will need to go for it which should suit us.

It's alright, I reckon Dortmund will rest players this game.

At about the hour mark.

Shortly after rattling in their eighth goal of the night.

Last few days I've been quietly confident despite recent performances, but now it's match day and the minutes tick by I am getting rather anxious.
