He's only saying it as it is. They look like scoring every time going forward and will probably get another couple of goals.

Its so frustrating that we haven't been more of a threat given the ample opportunities we've had.

Either Son fails to pass, Chadli holds onto for too long, Son falls over etc.

We NEED to make better decisions.

If we'd played the "first eleven", there is absolutely every chance we'd still be losing 1-0.

Dortmund are extremely good. They'd probably be 10-12 points clear in the PL this season. At home, they get all over teams from the first minute, and they're pretty much the best team in the world at employing this approach.

I think I get it. We lull them into a false sense of security in the first half and then come out and piss all over them in the second.

Is that it?

I am surprised but happy that we are only 1-0 down. With the correct subs, we could hold them or perhaps sneak an away goal.

Pretty disappointed with the selection tonight. We have won fuck all in recent seasons and poch's CV although impressive isn't exactly full of silverware. But you would have to conclude that tonight he has no desire whatsoever to win this tournament. If he has prioritised the league then he should have thrown in the towel in the group stages of the Europa rather than field a weakened team against Dortmund away. His selection in the cup against palace was a bit questionable as well from what I remember. Been really looking forward to this game so feel totally short changed tonight.

But ... still hope the lads can get a result and show me up as a complete muppet!! COYS!!

People have got to realise that Dortmund have been building and working on this style of play for 5 years or so through Klopp and Tuchel. We're only just starting our jourmey under Poch.

We bring Dembele and Kane on and we'll be fine. Carrol and Mason in midfield and we're only 1 down. Encouraging.

If we hadn't lost to the Spammers and taken a point against the Scum I think we'd see a stronger team out there. The Prem is our easiest way to CL and so he's sensibly prioritising it. Shame we didn't take more points from those games but we now have to win the next couple. I understand his selections. Wish it was stronger but we put ourselves in this situation.

1-0 at halftime isn't that bad considering how much better they are.

Reminds me of the Madrid away game. A similar result wouldn't surprise me here, Poch needs to make some HT changes

They'll always control possession, not fussed.

But more composure needed when we do get it. Hot potato from son, Chadli. Mason, onomah and even Eriksen.

Just need to calm it down. Letting their pressing rattle us, we preach it, surely we know how to deal with it

Other than selling shirts what other qualities does he bring. Fucking disappointment is an under statement

It's his first season and acclimatising to a new league and a new culture in the UK. Look what lamela was like first season. Not everyone can hit the ground running.

He's not even had a season under his belt for fuck sake man. Why does all rational thinking go out of the window as soon as we go a goal down.

Another reason why we English struggle in Europe is that the EPL is so competitive, you have to be on it in every game to get a result. The top teams in Spain and Germany and France can roll over most teams. It is why we love the premiership but this is the cost

Not sure I follow the logic.

Dortmund played Bayern on the weekend, and have #5 Mainz on the upcoming weekend. They had the advantage of a home tie to play a full strength squad.
