When everything is gone the last thing left is hope......

HOPE (By Emily Dickinson)

“Hope” is the thing with feathers -
That perches in the soul -
And sings the tune without the words -
And never stops - at all -

And sweetest - in the Gale - is heard -
And sore must be the storm -
That could abash the little Bird
That kept so many warm -

I’ve heard it in the chillest land -
And on the strangest Sea -
Yet - never - in Extremity,
It asked a crumb - of me.

There is nothing, absolutely nothing that could pull me out of this mood. I feel cheated and conned.....:(
Just imagine the reactiom on rawk of there beloved Rafa dares to derail their year. It will be beautiful.

The argument about selling Dembele and not replacing needs to rest ffs.

He's sometimes so slow in possession we just conveniently forgot and think he could be our messiah to all these shit results.
He would have been an extra player that would have helped us.

And if we'd used him sparingly could have had a big impact on the second half of the season.

It was probably more criminal that we didn't at least use the money from his transfer to bring in a replacement.

But it's funny how since the day we sold him results have gone down the pan.

Out of all the disappointments over the years this might actually be the worst of all if we actually do what I think we’re going to do. I thought Pochettino had stopped Spurs doing this kind of thing. Now we may have a final next week where CL depends on it and no Son to play in it.

If we actually manage a miracle on Wednesday it would mean we get two chances to save out CL skin (Everton at home or Barca in Madrid) only Spurs could end up in this situation. I’m usually too optimistic but now even I can’t see how we are going to win another game this season. The momentum is too strong. Our only hope is for Arsenal to blow it but don’t think we’ll be so lucky.

Reflections:
Attitude right at start of game: several good chances created: Moura, Alli, Son. Those three looked sharp but not clinical in front of goal.
We got a bit lucky with the Dier 2nd yellow (not given) but it was a millimeters call so not a huge ref miss BUT bigger miss for the non-pen call
He did however miss the bad block on son plus the rabbit punch and stamp - should Son have reacted? No. Was the ref hopeless on that confrontation - yes he was
2nd half - Foyth RASH mistake
Played well
unlucky to end the way it did.

Reality - should have been out of sight after first 20 mins

Any potential transfer target just put himself on 'hold' after that result....can't blame him either.

By some miracle any chance of Harry getting on for a few minutes to score the goal against Everton that gets us 3rd or 4th .

Sonny has let the team down big time not just by missing Everton will also miss first 2 games next season .

The only thing we can take away from today is Son and Foyth have had a good rest for Wednesday.

I think I’m about as upset as I’ve been as a Spurs fan with today’s latest debacle. The game had implications for our future, as I was certain that loss today would mean a full on death spiral for us. A win would have us going to Ajax in great spirits. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement.

It’s actually left me feeling physically sick. Absolutely baffled at what we have done in the last two months. Today was simply the pinnacle of our mission to reach the peak of Shit Mountain.

They've actually ruined my weekend. Possibly week. Oh well, they deserve it for the shocking performances. 13 losses doesn't deserve CL.
