you got to appreciate that we only scored one goal in 450 min of play, I could go on an on, but we just to hope they can get the heads to together and do this Wednesday, but I wouldn't put money on it

Like I said we've fallen in a heap - but I expected this to happen after the United game and instead we are STILL in Top Four and STILL in CL.

The expectations on this squad given all the shit they've had to deal with are just preposterous. They have performed miracles to get where they are and other, better paid and funded, teams have performed worse without any of our travails.

I understand disappointment and frustration but shitting on this team? It's just so manifestly unfair as to make our support base look like utter ****s.

On the plus side, it does feel like Big Vic is getting back to fitness. Passing was a bit wayward but he’s definitely getting sharper.

Let’s hope we can get him ship shape for next season. Still think a combo of Vic and Winks could be a complementary central two for us.

Isn’t a strange feeling to be desperate for this season to end, despite still having a CL semi final left to contend?

Yeah Windy from the the Extra Inch pod said exactly the same in his last pod and I was nodding along.

If WE feel exhausted and drained by this season imagine what the players must feel.

If we'd bowed out of CL against Dortmund but nailed down Top Four this place would be much more sedate I reckon.

We don't like it when the stakes are high - and I'm talking about the supports now - not the club.

This loss has hit me harder that all our recent losses. I’ve still not gotten over it.

The only way it can be soothed is if both arsenal and united drop points tomorrow.

I get what you’re saying mate, but the outpouring of frustration is really just the resurfacing of issues that had been bottled up whilst we ground results out.

We’ve been fucking unlucky with injuries for sure, but it’s hard for the average fan, to not wonder if some reinforcements in January/last summer might well have tipped the scales in our favour.

Watching a knackered squad slowly disintegrate physically and mentally is bound to pass negative energy on to the fans sat in their seats.

The team will need us more than ever next week.

The lack of reinforcement is NOT the fault of the squad. Yet the same old keyboard warriors are out in force dumping their shit all over a team that IS CURRENTLY IN A CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SEMI-FINAL.

I have to shout because its like being in this position makes it even worse for some fans. The team performs miracles to punch above their weight but instead of enjoying and celebrating this unlikely state of affairs, some fans seem to think it mean LOSING will be a dishonour - when just the making it so far is an achievement of incredible scale.

Some of our fans are far worse "mentally" than this squad. That's for damn sure. And its embarrassing, Get a grip ffs

I like your style. But we're all a tad upset at the moment.

But roll on Wednesday. For some reason I think we can do it.

We were in the title race until January.

We are in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

We are, by any and every measure, "good". Maybe not "good enough" but certainly "good".

We have fallen in a heap in the league at the end of a very long and trying season.

I can't believe how willing Spurs fans are to shit on this team. Just dump tonnes of shit on a team that is in the semi final of the CL despite having no midfield, and lost the best striker in the world. Incredible.
13 losses in the league is not good enough, we have been shocking recently. Cant score in a brothel. No two ways about it.

guys - take a breath - 1991 season we nearly went bankrupt, Jurgen's second spell helped us avoid relegation, we had the Ginger Pele as a striker, were mocked as 3 point lane and had Tim Sherwood as our leader...we have been through worse.
Here's hoping we batter Ajax and smash Everton on Sunday
COYS!!!

Yeah the way he dealt with that corner at the end was definitely a positive sign

As for his performance in the 2nd half today he barely had to move out of his own 18 yard box so his fitness shouldn’t have come into question

I still saw him lose countless balls, give away possession easily and get outmuscled for the ball

Sad to see

On one hand this was just an off day, some rare reckless heads, some bad refereeing and a case of this season and all the circumstances catching up with us but on the other hand today was actually pretty inexcusable and quite concerning that yet again when the pressure is really on with our club, this squad and manager we find a way to well and truely fuck things up and that is a combination of a lack of mental strength, maturity and quality which needs addressing.

Mate 100% agree but some so called fans are just hopeless, gutless and almost seem to be gleeful when they have a chance to have a go.

The number of fans who said WE don't deserve CL so therefor hope we get Europa is bananas!

Could you imagine if Poch had spent a couple hundred million, we had a home stadium the past 2 years, didn't have a massive WC semi final hangover and avoided major injuries and were still as shit as, say, the goons - wow - they'd want him deported!

At least it's still exciting though, eh?

We might actually still make the Top 4 and win the Champions League.
