We go from that Chelsea game where we had 9 players on the pitch being brave and not shying away, to this.

Let’s hope things change at half time. Would like to see someone stepping up and taking a shot as well, instead of this pissing about in the box with everyone seemingly scared to take a shot at goal.

Our defence is woeful without at least 1 top class central defender

…….and we’re trying to walk it in again

All this bollocks about they are to young is rubbish every club has teenagers in their team and they are playing well. We've just had a 18 year old score against us tonight in fact. If you have injuries like we have in defence you give the likes of Phillips a go. If you are not going to play them now with the injuries we are carrying then what's the point of buying them in the first place? I worry that Ange is not one for giving the young players a chance.
Yes! But alongside experienced players who are in their correct position.

United played a French kid against West Ham alongside Evans but it didn't work out

Hard to dig out Emerson but he’s struggling as a CB. Went walkabout for the first goal. Need Dier’s head in the box to defend set pieces, as we look a little weak there too. Maybe bring on Lo Celso for Sarr and go for it. Still not out of this.
Emerson is OK but he is not really comfortable on the ball which he needs to be in this system especially at centre back.

Telling a player he can leave in Jan but starting him on 28th Dec - fucking ridiculous.
He’s been utter pish tonight
If I'm being fair I'd say he doesn't suit our style of play. Don't dismiss what he has done or some good bits today, but he's not cutting it now.

Thing is this game ISNT gone, it’s 2-0, we should be 4 or 5 down, the fact it’s 2-0 means there’s something still there for us if we want it…. Question is though, do we want this?

They've been on the bench for weeks and seen no minutes when we've been comfortable. He clearly doesn't trust them for whatever reason, but I'm not buying they are a worse option than Royal or Davies at CB when you are asking them to repeatedly play out from the back.

Yeah, I'm starting to question this now as well after previously being unsure. This is the performance I expected to see when having 2 full backs at CB to be honest.

Even if not quite up to the standard, there's a complete difference in just having certified CB's in there as opposed to makeshift ones really. There's a level of solidity that you just don't have otherwise.

Feels like PEH has spent more time on the ball than any other Spurs player, which is part of why we are struggling.
Brighton tbf have played well.

Nick an early goal and see if we can apply a bit of pressure on them.
