I remember my Dad used to shout blue murder at the television over Ginola and his complete lack of effort.

Obviously it's possible to have a team with a player who is a bit of a luxury, but it simply wouldn't work with the way Poch is trying to do things.

I don't know, I think Soldado is "luxury" at the moment. By that I mean he's not a player that presses but waits. Now if you put Berbatov in place of him, who has been very effective for us before, then I think it would work.

But i'm not the manager so fuck knows

Yes but Soldado has largely been a waste of space who Poch clearly doesn't want to play, so I'm not sure that's a good example!

i would always love to welcome berba back to the club and we do need a striker that can be relied apon to give harry kane a rest every once and a while. This option should be cheap enough just to hold us to the summer, as well and preferable a striker who is still eligible to play in both the league cup and europa.
