While losing him to United would be a massive kick in the teeth, I can't see any positives in keeping an unhappy player (who we'll lose for no money at all in a year's time) while also preventing us from bringing in reinforcements.

Maybe we are encouraging him as Real arent that interested and he wont sign up....

Eriksen going to United is not strange to me at all. He’s never really struck me as the ambitious type. So this is perfectly on brand, IMO. Whatever though. Get him out of the club as quickly as possible. I’ve been done with him since the same time he was done with us, in January.

Eriksen going to United would be the quickest way of burning any remaining goodwill he has with us. What "new challenge" is he going to face there apart from "earning more money"? That said, he clearly doesn't want to be here any more so sell him to whoever is willing to pay and let them deal with his abject performances when he loses interest. And get rid ASAP if he's actually holding up players that actually want to play for us from joining.

We're hearing hungry young players like Fernandes and Lo Celso say they want to come to us and play under Poch, I don't see what Eriksen's problem is tbh.

Obviously there’s no guarantee it will work out for him there (see Alexis), but there’s also no guarantee BF or GLC will be as good as Eriksen here either (language, change of league, change of culture).

He played in the EL with us, it's not a new challenge. Although I suppose if he specifically wants to win *that* trophy, he won't be doing it here.

The only reason he'd go to United is to line his pockets. I don't see OGS lasting the season and then there'll be *another* new manager and *another* rebuild. He's not an exciting, highly respected manager, he got sacked by Cardiff ffs.

I’d be happy with anything close to 50- he has most the cards in this dynamic. If he’s not going to sign- which seems very likely at the moment- then we need to get as much as possible for him but be realistic about what we can get. I think going to Utd won’t be as bad as him going to City or Liverpool for obvious reasons

I am not concerned if Eriksen ends up at United. In short to medium term, they are still rudderless with Ole in charge. United has been a graveyard for players of late - cant think any one's career flying high after United move.
