Burnley game sold out

hi,

just after logging on to buy tickets for burnley at home and it says there is only 1 or 2 seats left in the ground?? this cant be true. tickets only went on sale at half 9. thought only a 1000 tickets go on sale to bronze first??

Yes mate only 1000 tickets are available, so it appears to be sold out but it isnt.

I booked mine from the 1000 on sale yest and got block 35 (Park Lane) :shrug:

Just booked it there, park lane upper 43. can never get down the front of 43 always up the back.

Alright, I give up. One Hotspur wins, my card isn't good enough for them.

I have spent quite a lot of money on it in the last couple of days but I don't think I have a limit on it... Card expires September 2011 so no, it bloody well shouldn't be.

Bet I get a letter from the bank in a few days saying that they are suspecting irregular activity on my card and have cancelled it. They've done it once before even though all the payments turned out to have been made by me.

They should, and I hope they do soon, but I can't see that they do atm.

I had my bank call me up and ask if i was in Ghana or Indonesia a few months back cos some lovely person had cloned my card.
IIRC i had probs with mine when i last booked tix last season....no help i know..sorry

Just checked my statement and apart from my excessive spending yesterday (on recording equipment for my band) there's nothing irregular about it. But that could be enough for them to cancel my card as a precaution. Especially as most of my transactions are in England (as I study there) but I'm back home in Norway with my family atm.

Yeh, if you dont tell the bank and then leave and start spending they may well have put a block on the account. Nothing that a phone call shouldnt be able to sort out though.

When I went to Chicago last summer I bought a book at Heathrow on my card, then by the time I got to America and tried to use it they'd canceled it... Booking flights and a hotel obviously weren't enough...

On topic, I got fed up yesterday being constantly given seats in the back row of the block, booked today and got a seat pretty much in the middle of block 35... You'd like to think the extra day for booking tickets you get for your extra £15 a season would be more worthwhile...
