Cracking goals. But still so much nitpicking and negativity in this thread! If you can’t enjoy today I think you need a new hobby

This for me is what football is about. Being excited and entertained following my team. I just want to tune in and watch and enjoy some great football. I missed that during most of the last four years so now I want to really enjoy it.

Gosh, you reflect back on how easy it would have been for Daniel Levy to have brought Poch back to Spurs.
And instead he held his nerve and in the end (along with his recruitment team) saw something in Ange that others hadn’t at Premiership level.
Levy gets a lot of stick for many things, but this one he got spot on.
Spurs have been revitalised….as have the lives of every one of our fans.

Get ready for a neg rating from John Weldon.

It’s great to see one of our youngsters make a real difference, especially on his debut. An assist and a goal in circa 25 mins after coming on. He’s one player you can look at and have a real belief that he can kick on.
Less than 100 mins of senior football and he’s taking and scoring a penalty in the 99th minute away from home. Thats confidence.

He’s played well no doubt but he does seem to take a long time to decide what he’s going to do which sliws everything down
I find him incredibly frustrating. He has the ability but is massively playing within himself. Like you say he’s just second guessing everything and taking too long. He seems to have no problem doing the hard part and then just freezes and ends up dawdling on the ball. Hopefully it just clicks for him at some point.

Wow, just wow! What a performance. Behind early and then turned it round in style. Good full PL debut from Solomon with two assists for Sonny. The skipper bagged a hat-trick and could have had more. Maddison brilliant, Udogie is the truth, Romero strong at the back and a foot like a traction engine for his goal. So much to enjoy. I just love watching these boys play. Thank you Ange Postecoglou!

Well done boys now have a couple of days rest and then a nice gentle preparation over the next five days before our next game.

We seem to have retained that nasty habit of starting games sluggishly, lord knows why as we only have about 3 of the same starting 11 and a different manager. We need to sort that out because there are 6 or 7 teams in this league who will really punish us if we aren't at it. Can't really complain otherwise though, incredible turnaround in performances, especially given the turmoil around the club over the last year or two. Remember how it was at the start of the summer? I genuinely thought we were screwed. Ange is doing a fantastic job so far, and credit where its due, the rebuild is looking pretty good right now.

Don't think we have under Ange personally. Today Burnley just flew out of the gates and caught us off guard a bit. Think we grew well into it after about 15 nervy minutes.

If the worst that happens is we kill the game off completely by going 5-1 up instead of sitting on a narrow lead and then ease off last 15 amd concede but still win 5-2 I'll take that any day of the week.

Apart from the sloppy goal conceded early doors many more reasons to be cheerful. Nice watch indeed.
