Our team let all their good work in the first 60 minutes go to waste by giving up after Man Utd's first goal went in .

The way I saw it only Dawson , BAE , Friedel and VDV kept fighting .

Whilst they were providing an excellent example , none of them seemed to be providing instructions to their despondent team-mates .

Seems to me that it might have been a bit more effective if they had used their brains and mouths rather than trying to do it all by themselves with their brawn .


Anyone else see this lack of leadership as a big problem ?

Can we crack it ?

Yes. Personally I've never rated Dawson as a leader. I know many love him, but I've never been of that opinion.

Unfortunately players like Ledley King seem to be a dying breed.

Ledley never barks out instructions. He was always quiet when captain.

I thought the same last night, there was something lacking in that leadership kind of sense.

This has come up a lot in past years, you're right.

Contradictory to this though is the number of games we turned around last season when behind.

We won the most number of points from losing positions didn't we?
