Hi Guys,

Just wondered if the carling cup quarter final tickets will go to general sale?

Ive got a few mates (without memberships etc) who want to go and make a day out of it seeing OT etc. What chances are they wud go to general sale or wud the club just sell them back to united?

Any info would be cool

Mine came today and as we only took an allocation of about 3500 I would expect them to all be taken up by season ticket holders & members with no general sale

Yeah we had the option of a maximum allocation of 9,000 (as you always can have when you get a cup tie at OT) but once all the Gold & Silver St's had applied they went for the lowest option of just under 4,000.

Exactly the same thing happened in the FA Cup last season. It's so the club don't get stung for not selling tickets/ the embrassment of having loads empty seats in our allocation.

Ah yeah, that's fair enough, however I was told we'd taken the full bunch... evidently not!

Yeah, was never going to sell out to members at those prices for a midweek carling cup game.
