And while we're talking about norwegian Spurs fans, so is Daniel Braaten apparently. Not a well known player in England but he has 45 caps for Norway and plays for FC Copenhagen.

Going by this interview (in norwegian, so I imagine only a few on here can understand it) he is a big fan.

Good to hear - he was an absolute legend on one of the editions of Championship Manager.

Embarrassing story that I didn't know who he was the first match we went to.... Asked what he did for a living, he said musician and then I just went on about how cool my job was..... Epic fail.

One of my favourite TV moments was when Ian Wright briefly had his own chat show. Introduced Trevor McDonald as one of his heroes growing up. Clearly star struck (which was quite sweet, really, for a famous footballer). There followed a moment that went something like this (I paraphrase):

Trevor McDonald: My son is a big fan of yours and consequently supports Arsenal.......

Ian Wright beams with pride.

Trevor McDonald: ..........much to my chagrin because I've always supported Tottenham Hotspur.

Smile instantly wiped from Wright's face.


I can't do it justice just by writing about it. You'll have to take my word for it that it was simply, perfectly beautiful!
