Celtic have been hinting they want to move to the Premiership, as have Rangers. Would you be willing to let them in? Personally, I'd love to see more teams with huge fan bases within the UK in the Premier League. They are not English? They have bigger stadiums, history and fan bases than Swansea who are accepted and doing very well.

No thanks. The Bigot Brothers can stay in Scotland.

Luckily, this suggestion was voted down by the EPL a year or two ago.

I think they should help concentrating on building up their own league! Rangers need to prove themselves before even thinking about again don't they?

I've got a feeling it would happen at some time. We've already got Welsh teams so I can't see why it should make a huge difference. However to give them a pass into the EPL is unfair, they would have to come in at the bottom level and work their way up.

They would be sacrificing a large portion of their income to do this though as they would be giving up (virtually) guaranteed European competition. They money that Celtic, and previously Rangers, rake in through qualifying consistently for the Champions League must be worth more than they'll get for just possibly qualifying for the Europa League every now and again (I don't rate them good enough too mount much of a threat in the EPL).

Rather them than the likes of wigan bolton etc. Purley fan/atmosphere that is.

They would make a hell of a lot more playing in England than in Europe and with their support would be a major force sooner than a lot of people think.

Agree they wouldn't and shouldn't come straight into the EPL but I can see a 2 Tier EPL at some stage and if they came into the lower Tier that would be more palatable

Scottish football, notwithstanding Celtic and Rangers, used to be a great exporter of football talent to the English leagues down the decades, all the best teams had their Scots players, the Mackay, McQueen, Mc who ever and many many more quality names too many to mention .. in all positons outfield, with an occasional goalkeeper in the mix too.

What happened ? Instead of the Mc's & Macs there seems to be "-vics" !

I would prefer Stenhousemuir and Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Purely for the names that is.

No defo dont wont either in. We have just sorted out crowd trouble in this country and you would want it to start again by asking 5000-10000 jocks to invade England evrey weekend. No Thanks.

Really? Then I imagined that Rio Ferdinand got hit by a coin in the recent Manchester derby.

Fans on the pitch as well.

Guess it was these Jocks dressed up as City fans...

You live north of the border don't you Chris? Do you think the fans would be up for it and what are your thoughts on the idea of invading Englands green and pleasant pastures most Saturdays?
