When Nacer Chadli moved to Tottenham back in 2013, he looked to be another of those classic Spurs signings – they look good but end up not living up to their price tag.

I love chadli. He's a top top player for us and is not given enough praise for his efforts, assists and goals.

Hope he stays on for a long time with us.

He has improved a great deal this season, and has scored important goals fro us. I cannot understand the criticism he sometimes gets especially when other players who came in at the same time as him appear to get a free ride.

I think it's because he cost less (perversely) and had a lower profile. The players who came in with higher price tags seem to have more good-will, probably because some people think that because they cost so much they must be good (and therefore worth persevering with).

He is big and strong enough to make his presence felt, but he seems to be too much of a gentle giant. If he could intimidate opposing defence more, we'll score many more goals.

Spot on. With this type of Chadli, a firing Eriksen and Lamela, Mason and Bentaleb continuing to improve we could have a very impressive midfield next season.

I confess I didn't hold out much hope for us this season given our firm in the first third of the season but we are becoming a very good team ... slowly.

We're still prone to silly mistakes and our defence let us down too too often this season - Mr Vertonghen in particular, Walker and Rose too but to a lesser extent - to allow us to win anything or, probably, to challenge for 4th place this season. But many of us sensed it would be a transitional one - the question remained whether it would be a good transitional one or a bad transitional one. At this point it's looking like the former.

And to have a few new young stars rising in the process is a bang-on Brucey Bonus.

A trophy would have been nice though.
