Thoughts?……..personally wouldn’t mind one of the Scottish teams, not too fussed about the others.

Would like to avoid Inter... Just in case we have a last minute opportunity to get Bastoni.
Good point although I think that ship has sailed….personally though I love a cup draw and it doesn’t get much bigger than this one (although being old school nothing tops the 3rd round draw for the FA Cup)

Pot 2 is possibly stronger than pot 1, hope we get Frankfurt from there (dumb that they get to be in pot 1). Then again I would love to get Dortmund from pot 3 because beekeper Son would score 10 goals against them, always does. Hope we avoid Bayern and PSG.

They're going to drag this out for 2 and a half hours before we finally know who's in our group aren't they?

I have the rundown. It'll be 25 minutes - at least - before they actually start drawing balls. No point switching on at 5.

I'd really prefer that we get somebody a bit glamorous from Pot 1 as that is what it's all about - being in the CL. So not Frankfurt (and not Bayern as they are tough as well as less glamorous). Madrid, Milan, PSG, maybe Ajax

Beyond that we want to go through to the knockout stages so probably want beatable teams without travelling too far. E.g. Bruges, Marseille, Leverkusen

As much fun as the Glasgow clubs would be they will always have a point to prove and will probably be a lot tougher than the rest of Pot 4

Would be nice to get benfica so we can wave at Jan.

Other than that one glamour tie as others have said but also would like to avoid teams we've had in recent memory (e.g. dortmund, inter) as it would be nice to get a couple we have not played for a while/in this competition.

Would actually like a harder draw because the only time we went out in the group stage was when I looked at every game thinking "we'll win that". Fucking Monaco.

Another bit of fun to pass the time by , our record in all European competitions by country.
Our record against Spanish teams is the worst.
On previous history our best opponents by country would be Ajax or Porto, Salzburg and from pot 4 never lost to Scottish or Israeli teams probably because have only played a handful of games against them.
Our record against Belgian teams is W4 D4 L4 so best avoid Brugge even if they are in pot 4. :)

I'd rather avoid the Scottish teams as the away games will be very difficult. This would be my choice.

Milan
Spurs
Salzburg
Brugge
