Fun fact: I personally know his mother (pictured in the article) and his brother Mark. My Granddad was a famous boxer in the 60s and passed away a few years ago. Charlie was a fan of sorts and donated some stuff for my family to sell to go towards Alzheimer's Society (my Granddad was a sufferer). I interviewed his mother/brother for a documentary I did whilst at uni.

His brother is a great guy, campaigns really hard for him to get out. His mother was great to talk to, too. She lives in Aberystwyth where I went to uni so I saw her a fair few times.

...didn't know he was a Spurs fan until now, though!

Metalhead

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Before I watched the film I expected the usual British crime movie but it was done really well. Having Tom Hardy playing Bronson certainly didn't hurt. Brilliant actor.

Campaigns to get him out? The guy just covered himself with Lurpak butter to attack prison wardens after Arsenal won the FA Cup. I think he is possibly in a suitable location...

Interesting artwork from his mind though.

A good film to check out is an Aussie film called 'Chopper', It's kinda like the Aussie version of Bronson, real life hard nut etc.

Let's get him out on parole and play him as a midfield enforcer. He could just tell the other team to stay in their own half or risk the consequences.

Well, it's a better bit of butter! I'm just imagining his thought process at the time..."better put some extra on the nipples, they love to grab those!"
