I think Chelsea have pipped Arsenal into Scum division 1 top spot, as much as I detest Arsenal, i can still show them some respect for purely footballing reasons, and because they are our traditional and true rivals.
But Chelsea? A two bit manufactured 'brand' that Peter Kenyon wishes to build and which peter Kenyon wishes to promote as THE London club, (he considers Spurs and Arsenal to be minor clubs who don't have a future in London and to be in 'unfashionable London suburbs").
A club which is so obsessed with building up a brand name that it buys out it's Kit sponsors (Umbro and Emirates) at a huge loss to itself, in order to have Adidas and Samsung - 'brand names' on their shirts.
A club whose spending and antics has ruined English football.

a club who will sack a manager for getting them to two finals and runners up in the league - last day of the season.
A club run and owned by a Russian mafioso crook, who treats the club like his toy.

A fanbase made up of Jonny come latelys, part time supporters and all that, and supporters who think Chelsea truly have always been Great (or are great, which they certainly are not)

Fuck chelsea, shit team, shit support, shit stadium and everything about them is shit!

I get the feeling you don't like them much, ibbz.

But there's merit in what you say. They are pretty scummy. Although, I have to be honest, I don't think I'll ever hate them as much as I hate Arsenal. I'm proud to say I don't have any Arsenal-supporting friends, but I do have two Chelsea supporting ones.

I do get itchy knuckles when I look at John Terry, Fat F*** Frank, or Dididive Drogba. But I get a really violent urge to do some punching when I look at pretty much any member of Arsenal's squad.

You'll have to forgive me as I go off on one. I watched the CC semi-final again the other day (just to cheer myself up) and I watched Justin Hoyte's foul on Robbie Keane, and my God, did I feel like turning his face into a bloody, pulpy mess.

And that fat prick Fabianski in goal. GET A DECENT F****** HAIRCUT YOU MORONIC STREAK OF PISS!!! If you can't afford one on the thousands of pounds a week you get paid by the shit factory, let me know and I'll come round there and do it for you, although I can't promise I'll leave you undamaged afterwards.

My faith in a higher power loses strength whenever I see that s***-faced tit, Adebayor showing his teeth. Please God, won't someone do us all a favour and knock them out for him?. For crying out loud, Ghaly lost three teeth against Portsmouth (I think) and his teeth are tiny. You can't miss Adebayor's teeth. Or if you don't fancy the teeth, at least pull out those stupid dreadlocks.

And as for Fibreglass, he really is a festering polyp on the anal sphincter of humanity.

Phew! I feel better now.

It's funny becuase someone asked me this question last week and I said at the moment it's definitely Chelsea that I hate more. Weird thing is I've hated Arsenal for such a long time now and always for the same reasons, despite a change in personnel, that it's almost become second nature and I often say / behave in a way that suggests this without even realising it. I remember going out with a girl almost 18 years ago and dumped her for having a JVC stereo and not understanding how much I despised them.

Of course nowadays I have calmed down a bit, but I think that all of us have something to say about Chelsea due to the amount of media coverage they have had over the past 5 years in particular, and frankly no-one likes a show off, which is what they've become in the Premier League.

One could argue that they are no worse than Utd as previously they used to cream all the best players and to a certain extent still are. The difference is they are desperately trying to make up for lost time so are buying multiple players all in one go. They have no style at all buy stealing Man Utd's mantra ie Kenynon, Mikel,Essien, Robben & Ballack. They've tried to rebrand themselves and be No 1 just by throwing an obscene amount of money around which is desperation from a monumental Corporate Whoring point of view, which again no one likes.

This point really pisses me off as Chelsea fans are deluded by denying the truth in saying Romans money hasn't changed anything and they still think they are football purists. In reality they've accepted that they've sold their soul to the devil.

In Aug 2003 football was just starting to sort its finances out and transfer fees, crucially for English players, were starting to fall and market forces were balancing out the excess's (like Leeds buying Seth Johnson for £9.2 yes £9.2 million!). Once Roman took charge that all changed and upped the relentless ante once again, forcing every club to compete by paying stupid sums for players and thus increase ticket prices and merchandise.

This attitude is in direct correlation with the lack of substance now at football matches which is more driven by financial rewards than it ever was. It's not a co-incidence that the top 4 in eqaulity gap has become a widening issue only recently.

I find this reason more damaging than ever and now feel absolutely beside myself that the beautiful game is being destroyed and the blame lies squarely at Chelsea.

I hate Arsenal because they are like your neighbour or work colleague that you've always hated and the grounds were purely on local rivalry and a strict football style basis and all that. Chelski are a different and more worryingly impact the game as a whole which is why I was so happy when Whinelka missed that pen.

Both Chelsea and Arsenal have been our nemesis clubs for the best part of two decades now, we have been in their shadow, but it was our own fault.

Finally this year I hope we have laid some ghosts to rest.
